🎯 Target Pests

βœ“Bed Bugs (including pyrethroid-resistant)βœ“Bed Bug Eggs (ovicidal claim)

πŸ”¬ How It Works

CrossFire is unique among bed bug insecticides for two reasons:

1. Ovicidal activity: CrossFire makes an ovicidal claim β€” meaning it can kill bed bug eggs. Most bed bug insecticides have no effect on eggs. This is significant because eggs are the stage most protected from chemical treatments.

2. Dual mode of action for resistance: Clothianidin (neonicotinoid, IRAC 4A) + metofluthrin (pyrethroid, IRAC 3A) combine to overcome pyrethroid-resistant bed bug populations. CrossFire and Temprid SC use different neonicotinoids (clothianidin vs. imidacloprid) making them useful for rotation programs.
