⚙️ How It Works

Hydramethylnon is a metabolic inhibitor in fire ant baits. Workers carry bait to queen — colony collapse within 1–2 weeks. The most widely used fire ant bait active ingredient.

⚗️ Mixing & Application

Amdro Fire Ant Bait: broadcast at 1–1.5 lb per acre, OR 3–5 tablespoons around individual mounds. Apply when ants are actively foraging (soil 65–85°F). Do NOT water in.
