🎯 What It Kills

✓ Fleas (prevents egg hatch)✓ Mosquito larvae✓ Stored product insects✓ Clothes moths✓ Fungus Gnats

⚙️ How It Works

Methoprene is an insect growth regulator (IGR) — it mimics juvenile hormone preventing insects from maturing to reproductive adults. Does not kill adults but breaks the breeding cycle. Must be combined with adulticide for complete flea control.

⚗️ Mixing & Application

Precor IGR: 0.5–1 oz per gallon for indoor carpet/floor treatment. For outdoor flea treatment: 0.5 oz per gallon. Altosid Briquets for mosquitoes: 1 briquet per 100 sq ft of water.

⚠️ Safety

  • ⚠ Not an adulticide — must combine with a kill product for adult fleas
  • ⚠ Very low mammalian toxicity — one of the safest pesticide classes
  • ⚠ Do not apply to water bodies without checking local regulations for mosquito use
